To storm chase or not to storm chase, that is the question...

Doug Kiesling, The Weather Paparazzi

Welcome to the home page of Douglas "Lightningboy" Kiesling, The Weather Paparazzi. This is my personal blog and photo gallery page.

I'm am a freelance videographer for CNN, ABC News, The Weather Channel, Associated Press TV News, National Geographic Channel, and various other television networks around the world. I am also the founder of BNVN or Breaking News Video Network, Inc.

For some of you, now your asking, "what the heck happened to Lightningboy.com?" While some of you are also asking what happened to all of the video that was on WeatherPaparazzi.com?

Answer: I organized everything. All of my video is now hosted on www.BNVN.com and Lightningboy.com and WeatherPaparazzi.com is now merged together into my personal blog page. Any video here is just to tell a story about what I do for a living.

All video sales are now through BNVN.com or my agents at the Conus Archive. So if your looking for the video catalogs that were here, you need to visit http://www.bnvn.com

I know I should update the blog more often but I have been busy working on stuff and have not had time to post any updates.

First off, I got word that the show is coming along great and all the post production is almost completed.  There is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes word is that it's all good.

It is Winter Hazard Awareness Week in Minnesota and today was prime example of why everyone needs to slow down and pay attention to the road.  Put the cell phone down and watch the road and also make sure your seatbelt is on since it was another deadly day on the roads due to two seperate winter weather related fatal car wrecks.

The Weather Paparazzi Is Going Hollywood

Ok, I'm back home in Minnesota and back to work for me in the office.  I have a ton of emails to go through and stuff to take care of for the next few days.  I'll post the trip photos later tonight.
